Haven't received your Pap test results?

The results of your Pap test will be sent to the clinic or health care centre where you had the test, usually within two weeks.

Your results should be there about two weeks after your Pap test. When you have the test, your provider will tell you how you’ll receive your results. Some providers ask you to telephone for the results, while others ask that you make a follow-up appointment.

If you haven’t received your result within about 2 weeks, contact the provider who performed your test. Don’t contact the NSW Pap Test Register as it won’t receive any information about your test or the result for at least a couple of months.

When you call for your result, your doctor or other health care provider will tell you that the test was normal or abnormal, or if the test was unsatisfactory
