Data Requests

There are two types of data requests: participation and non-participation. Please read the description of each below to ensure you use the appropriate form for your request.

Participation data requests

Aggregated cervical screening data is available to Women’s Health Nurses in Area Health Services and staff at Divisions of General Practice.

This customised data is provided solely for the purpose of assisting service providers in cervical screening service delivery and planning.

These data cannot be used for published research or made publicly available in any other way, including posting on websites.

Non-participation data requests

Customised data can be provided to non-service providers in certain circumstances eg. for research.

It is important to note that the data provided will only be as current as the most recently published ASR. If permission is granted, the data provided may be used for publication.

Process for applying for data

1. Download the appropriate form using one of the two links above
2. Complete and sign the form
3. Scan and email the form to cervicalscreening@cancerinstitute.org.au. If there are no scanning facilities available at your organisation please fax the completed form to (02) 8374 5695.

Decisions regarding the provision of data will be made by the PTR data custodian who assesses each application.
